Time is changing fast, so is the way we humans interact with each other. As someone who works from home full-time, we have learned some best practices that we wanted to share with you all today. We have been using Amazon Chime for quite some time and are very impressed by it. It is designed and built for everyone who wants to communicate and make the process of communication easy.
Amazon Chime is a communication service that transforms every online meeting with a secure and easy to use application that you can trust. Amazon chime works seamlessly across all your devices so that you can stay connected. You can use Amazon chime for online meetings, video conferencing, calls, chat and to share content, both inside and outside your organization. And share screens in a smooth experience that spans PC and Mac desktops, iOS devices, and Android devices.
Normally the service is free for basic edition, and for “plus” edition that costs $2.50 per user per month and a pro edition for $15 per user per month. More details at:

But the Good news is that Amazon going to provide WORK FROM HOME OFFER in which they will offer free use of all Amazon Chime Pro features for online meetings and video conferencing from March 4, 2020 to June 30, 2020 for all customers that start using Amazon Chime for the first time during this period from their AWS account. Getting started with Amazon Chime
Download and install the Amazon Chime app.The app is available on Windows 7, 8 and 10; macOS X version 10.10 and above; iOS version 8.0 and above; and Android version 5.0 and above.
Open the Amazon Chime app
Agree to your Amazon account being used with Amazon Chime > check your email inbox > select “Verify Me” > your Amazon Chime setup is complete.
And you will see something like this…
Now go to Meetings and then schedule a meeting in your Outlook calendar or Google calendar
On the Amazon Chime desktop app, click Meetings > Schedule a Meeting. In the chedule Meeting Assistant, select the calendar app that you use (either Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar).. I simply set up an invite as usual:
And my meeting is underway. I can invite others, share my screen or any desired window, use my webcam, and so forth
Once it’s done, send the information to all attendees.
Finally your amazon chime is completely set-up..

The Amazon Chime SDK is a set of real-time communications components that developers can use to quickly add audio calling, video calling, and screen sharing capabilities to their own web or mobile applications. By using the Amazon Chime SDK, developers can eliminate the cost, complexity, and friction of creating and maintaining their own real-time communication infrastructure and services.
The Work Flow
The Amazon Chime SDK samples audio at a rate of 16 kHz and encoded using the Opus codec. The VP8 codec is used both for video and screen sharing. Video is supported at resolutions up to 1280×720 at 15 frames per second. Screen sharing is supported at 3 frames per second.
